There are buses to Llangenith which take 1hr 15mins but they only run every 2 hours. Please see details section for more information. Driving to Higher Muzzard Finding HigherMuzzard isn't too difficult. It allstarts with following the M4 to Junction 47. Come off atJunction 47 and, at the roundabout over the motorway, take the second turn-offto the left, signpost A483 Swansea. Follow the dualcarriageway down the hill for about half a mile and, at the roundabout at thebottom, take the right fork for Gowerton, Gorseinon, and the Gower. Go straightover the next roundabout after about 1-2 miles. A mile later,at the following roundabout, turn left for Gowerton and the Gower. After about 600metres, you go under a railway bridge and there are traffic lights after afurther 150 metres. Turn right at thetraffic lights on to the B4295 signposted to Penclawdd and Llanrhidian. You now stay onthis road until you get to Higher Muzzard Farm. It winds through Penclawdd, and on by Crofty, Llanmorlais, Llanrhidian, and Oldwalls. You then get taken down a steephill and up a steep hill the other side into Burry Green. At the top of the hill through Burry Green, there is a house on the right just at the end of the 30mph limit. You now have about 0.9 miles to go. You pass a right turn signed to Llanmadoc and then see a little leftturn at which there is a triangle of grass with a bus stop and small post boxon a stick. Higher Muzzard Farm is thewhite house 100 metres further on the right. The gate is just before the house. (See photo of farm in the body of the minutes as you first seeit distributed with these instructions.) If you are using SATNAV and my postcode, you will probably be toldyou’ve arrived about 200 yards before my house on the right. |
